Brewers Mourn the Loss of Former Coach and Analyst Davey Nelson
The Brewers have an off day ahead of an interleague trip to Kansas City to take on the Royals. The Brewers are coming off a sweep of the Marlins and have won 6 straight games. Despite the hot streak the Crew is on its still a somber day in Brewer land as former Major League and Brewer TV analyst Davey Nelson passed away this morning at age 73. Nelson served primarily as a pre and post-game analyst for the Brewers but also filled in from time to time on the radio broadcasts. Nelson played 10 seasons in the big league with the Indians, Royals, and Rangers franchise. He also served as a coach for the Brewers for five years.
