Josh Peardot Powers His Way to National Championship in Weightlifting

Tomah HS grad and Midland University’s Josh Peardot won the total-combined lift and two of the three lifts at Saturday night’s college national powerlifting meet in Texas. Competing in the 231-pound division, Peardot had a total-combined lift of 17 hundred 19 pounds. He won the bench press at 441 and the squat at 672 while taking second in the deadlift at 661. There were 36 lifters in his division.  The meet was held on the campus of Texas A&M University.  Midland University is Located in Fremont, Nebraska.
