Priebus Says He will Not Run For Paul Ryan’s Seat this Fall
Former White House Chief of State Reince Priebus says he will not run for the First Congressional District seat left open by the announcement by House Speaker Paul Ryan that he will not run for another term. Priebus is a prominent Republican who could have run in what is now a wide open Republican primary. Priebus says he is not running because he’s just started a new job with the Milwaukee law firm of Michael, Best, and Friederich (FREED-rick). He also says he’s enjoying being home with his family.
