Schnell, Harlan J., age 90, of Mauston

Harland J. Schnell, 90 of Mauston passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017 at AGrace Hospice in Madison.  He was born on October 16, 1927 in Monroe County, the son of Edwin and Amanda Schnell of Kendall, WI.

Harland was a retiree of Bucyrus-Erie Company and during his time of employment, resided in both Evansville, Indiana and Erie, Pennsylvania.

He was a WWII Navy Veteran and a life time member of the VFW Post 1114 in Evansville, IN.

Survivors include a brother, Eldon Schnell and sister in law (Ardis) of Mauston. Harland had four nephews and two nieces and their families, two step daughters, Lynnell (Mrs. Jack) McKeethen and family of Rockport, IN and Michelle (Mrs. Robert) Weir and family of Evansville, IN, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Amanda Schnell, his sister, Darlene (Mrs. Richard) Banach of South Milwaukee and wives, Esther (Onsager) Schnell of Mauston and Vera (Volk) Schnell of Evansville, IN.

Memorial services will be held Monday, December 4th 2017 at 3:00 pm at the Crandall Funeral Home in Mauston, with visitation prior to service from 1:30 to 3:00 pm.
