Western Announces Passing of Vice President

Western Technical College President Roger Stanford announced the passing of their Vice President of Academics. Cherrie Bergandi was visiting family in Atlanta when she experienced a medical emergency Sunday. She passed away at a local hospital in Georgia. Bergandi joined Western in August of 2017. She was Dean of General Education at Chippewa Valley Technical College prior moving to La Crosse from Eau Claire. She is survived by her husband Chaz. She was 57.
