Vote Now Thru Dec. 9 For Rock Hall Of Fame 2015 Inductees

WISCONSINREPORT.COM (10/20/2014) [MUSIC] – The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is again giving fans the opportunity to participate in the induction selection process now through December 9, 2014. Music lovers can visit www.rockhall.com to cast votes for whom they believe to be most deserving of induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Nominees for the 2015 Inductee group, include: The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Chic, Green Day, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, Kraftwerk, The Marvelettes, N.W.A., Nine Inch Nails, Lou Reed, The Smiths, The Spinners, Sting, Stevie Ray Vaughan, War, and Bill Withers. Vote for your choice at http://rockhall.com/voting/2015-rock-hall-nominees-fan-vote/ . You can only vote for 5 of the 15 nominees. After you finish selecting your choices, you must click on “Place Your Vote” at the bottom of the internet RockHall.com website page. When you do, you will be asked for your email address. After you fill in your email address, you will see the results of the Fan Vote, so far.

The top five artists selected by the public, will comprise a “fans’ ballot” that will be tallied along with the other ballots to choose the 2015 inductees.

To be eligible for nomination, an individual artist or band must have released its first single or album at least 25 years prior to the year of nomination. The 2015 nominees had to release their first recording no later than 1989.

Ballots will be sent to an international voting body of more than 700 artists, historians and members of the music industry.
