Tomah Man Facing Life in Prison after Death of 3 Year Old Child

A Tomah man is facing a life sentence in prison after the death of 3 year old Kyson Rice.  34 year old Marcus W. Anderson allegedly packed his bags and drove off under the influence of narcotics after inflicting injuries that led to the death of the 3 year old.  Anderson is facing charges of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, 2 Counts of Physical Abuse to a Child, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and 8 counts of Felony Bail Jumping.  A preliminary autopsy on Rice reported 179 contusions to the head, face, and limbs: a severe brain injury, broken ribs, and lacerated lips.  Anderson has a preliminary hearing July 25th.
