TMH Smith Named to 72 CIOs to Know List

For the second consecutive year, Tomah Memorial Hospital Information Systems director LaVonne Smith has been named one of the top community hospital chief information officers to know in the country.

According to a release from Becker’s Hospital Review, an industry leading print publication, Smith was listed as one of the top 72 C-I-Os to know in the country this year. She was on Becker’s first edition of 100 Community Hospital C-I-Os to Know last year.

Smith was the only C-I-O from Wisconsin named to the recent list.

She over sees information systems at Tomah Memorial Hospital, which was named among Hospitals & Health Networks’ Health Care’s Most Wired in 2017.
