Sanders, Lillian M. Age 92 of Hillsboro
Lillian M. Sanders, age 92 years, of Hillsboro, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Milestone Senior Living in Hillsboro.
She was born on March 2, 1931 to Joseph and Sylvia (Liska) Bulin in the Town of Woodland, Sauk County, Wisconsin. Lillian graduated from the Wonewoc High School.
Lillian was united in marriage to George Sanders on June 26, 1954 at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Wonewoc. They farmed in the Town of Hillsboro, where she also enjoyed raising her gardens and flowers. George preceded her in death on September 19, 2005.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Hillsboro and the Ladies Aide Group, and enjoyed playing cards.
Survivors include her children, Neil (Vicki) Sanders of Hillsboro, Terry (Anne) Sanders of Onalaska, Kay (Bob) Hofmeister of Hillsboro and Lynette Sanders of La Farge; 22 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Granddaughter.
In addition to her husband, George; she was preceded in death by her Parents and sister, Marvalene Miller.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Hillsboro, with Rev. Conrad Prell officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Vernon Cemetery in Hillsboro. A time of visitation will be at the Church on Saturday, February 17th from 10 to 11 a.m.
