Necedah Man Faces Seven Counts of Bail Jumping

A Necedah man has been charged with seven counts of bail jumping. Court records show that 36-year-old John Cole could face $10,000 fines or up to six years in prison, or both, for each count of bail jumping. According to the criminal complaint, Cole failed to provide samples on May 30, June 27, and July 4 as part of his bonds condition. In addition, a June 21 sample tested positive for THC.  Another condition of the bonds was that Cole was not to use, possess, or consume any controlled substances without a valid prescription. The complaint stated that Cole signed a signature bond May 15, requiring him to provide UA samples on Tuesdays at 8am, and he did not provide one until his arrest in June. He then signed another signature bond on June 7, requiring the same thing. Cole provided samples for two consecutive weeks before failing to show up. An arrest warrant was issued for Cole on Friday.
