Name Released in Fatal Monroe County Accident

Authorities have released the name of the passenger who died in the one vehicle crash on Sunday. Sheriff Scott Perkins said the deceased was 70 year old Keith Wayne Nelson of Warrens. Sheriff’s deputies say speed and alcohol were apparent factors the car crash that happened just west of Warrens on County Trunk EW. Deputies say a 44-year-old Yancy Dieter of Warrens drove her car into a series of telephone service boxes and some trees, before it flipped onto its top. Nelson was pronounced dead at the scene.
