Mauston Wine Walk Raises $3,213.76 For Mauston Food Pantry
The 5th Annual Mauston Wine Walk, put on by NOW92one FM, SMASH County 92.9 FM, WRJC.com, the Mauston Chamber, and Bank of Mauston, raised $3,213.76 towards the Mauston Food Pantry. Wednesday morning a check was presented to Kathy Green Director of the food pantry. Kathy says the pantry can purchase food at 18 cents a pound; therefore the pantry will be able to purchase 17,854 pounds of food. The Wine Walk was held September 21st in downtown Mauston. Thanks to the nearly 300 wine walkers and many area businesses who participated in the Wine Walk by either provided wine or appetizers or hosting a sampling location. Organizers of the Wine Walk thank everyone for coming out, having a great time, and raising money for the Mauston Food Pantry. The 6th annual Mauston Wine Walk will be held in September of 2019.
