Lee, Barbara M., age 78, of Elroy

Barbara M. Lee, age 78 years, of Elroy, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at the Serenity House in Tomah, Wisconsin.

She was born June 5, 1939 to William and Dorthey (Hoffman) Schroeder in Camp Douglas. Barbara was united in marriage to Harold “Toby” Lee on March 26, 1960 at The Little Brown Church in the Vale in Iowa.

They lived their lives together in Elroy and owned the local trailer park for years. Always at her husband’s side, she also gave all the assistance she could to her husband’s plumbing business. He preceded her in death on January 17, 2013.

Barbara enjoyed socializing and was known for her skills at bowling, bingo, and playing cards.

Survivors include her daughter, Renee (Michael) Escutia; granddaughter, Savannah Escutia; sisters, Janice Reynolds and Sandy (Bob) Young and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband, Toby, she was preceded in death by her son, Richard; three brothers and one sister.
