Former Tomah Principle Earns Right to Challenge Scott Walker for Governor

Former Tomah School’s principal Tony Evers earned the right to challenge incumbent governor Scott Walker in this November’s general election.  Evers received 42% of the vote easily ahead of the closest challenger Mahlon Mitchell who received 16% of the vote.  Scott Walker also won against his republican challenger, Sun Prairie businessman Robert Meyer, by a wide margin of victory.  Leah Vukmir defeated former Marine Kevin Nicholson by a 6% margin to earn the right to take on democratic senator Tammy Baldwin in this falls general election.  Wes Revels will take on Jeff Schwanz in the Monroe County Sheriff’s race this fall.  Revels won the republican primary.  Schwanz was unchallenged as the lone democrat.
