Fatal Accident Takes Place in Kildare Township

On January 3, at 5:12 a.m., the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a one vehicle accident on Cty Hwy HH in Kildare Township.

Initial investigation revealed a vehicle was northbound on Cty HH and the operator failed to negotiate a curve and left the roadway near the intersection of 55th Street.  The vehicle left the roadway and rolled several times ejecting the operator, the lone occupant of the vehicle.  The operator, a 20 year old Mauston man, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Juneau County Coroner.

The accident remains under investigation by the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office.  The Wisconsin State Patrol assisted with the investigation.
