Chicago Man Suffers Injuries as a Result of a Motorcycle Accident
A Chicago man suffered non-life threatening injuries after a motorcycle accident Saturday afternoon. Vernon County Sheriff John Spears said 58-year-old Daniel R. Heiser was traveling westbound on Highway 33 in the Town of Forest in Vernon County and lost control of his motorcycle while negotiating a curve. Heiser got too far off of the shoulder and the motorcycle continued down the ditch line coming to rest when it struck a culvert. Heiser was thrown from the motorcycle. Spears said Heiser was wearing a full helmet and was transported to St Joseph’s Hospital in Hillsboro. The accident remains under investigation.
