Zygmunt “Ziggy” Bender, age 87, of Friendship, Wisconsin passed away Friday, October 13, 2017 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin. A celebration of life will be from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the Dellwood Pavilion. Ziggy was born April 25, 1930 in Poland.  He worked at Harnischfeger in Milwaukee, WI for 26 years. Ziggy enjoyed hunting, fishing, helping others, traveling, and being social in the Polish community. He was President of the Adams County Polonia Club. Ziggy was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet Bender. James A. Gable, age 65, of Adams, Wisconsin passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin. A celebration of life will be from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the Friendship Park. James was born in Wautoma, Wisconsin at home delivered by his grandmother in the middle of a snowstorm on January 18, 1952. He was the husband of Jamie L. Mills, they shared 47 years of marriage together.
