U.S. Marshals Arrest Wisconsin Man For Human Sex Trafficking

A 46-year-old Wisconsin man has been arrested in Rock County for allegedly trafficking a child for commercial sex acts.  Corey Hereford is a registered sex offender based on a 1994 conviction for the sexual assault of a child.  Members of a U-S Marshal’s Task Force took him into custody after a Janesville mother found disturbing messages between Hereford and her 16-year-old daughter last November.  He was arrested at the Rock County Jail in December.  Authorities found evidence Hereford had been setting up sex acts for pay when they executed search warrants at his residence.  The evidence suggested he had multiple female victims.
