Tractor Rollover occurs in Hillsboro

Vernon County Sheriff John B. Spears reports a tractor rollover incident that occurred on private property west of Hillsboro, WI.  On June 4, 2018 at 1:04 p.m. the sheriff’s office was alerted to tractor rollover incident.  During the investigation it was learned that Cindy M. Klemp, age 51 of rural Hillsboro was operating a small tractor pulling a brush hog mower attachment.  Klemp reports she hit a washout on her property and the tractor started to roll.  Klemp said she jumped from the tractor as it started to roll.  Hillsboro Fire and EMS arrived on scene and shut the tractor and brush hog off.  Klemp was transported for unknown injuries to Gundersen Health St. Joseph by Hillsboro EMS.  Hillsboro Fire Department was able to upright the tractor.  No reported damage occurred to the tractor.

 

Assisting the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office at the scene was Hillsboro Fire Department and EMS.

 

The incident remains under investigation by the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office.
