Tomah Man Facing 2nd Offense OWI after Crashing into Potato Truck
A Tomah man is facing his 2nd Offense OWI after crashing into a semi in the Town of Cutler on January 19th. Authorities reported County road H near the Town of Cutler and observed a semi lying on its side. Witnesses say a truck with a snow plow in front ran a stop sign and hit the semi. Authorities made contact with the driver of the plow truck. He was identified as 34 year old Alex Dickman. Dickman told authorities he had been drinking and also that his license was revoked. Dickman started a field sobriety test but said he was drunk and did not want to continue it. He was taken to the Juneau County Jail without incident. Dickman’s passenger as well as both occupants of the semi, hauling a full load of potatoes, was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
