New Road will Help Brunner Hotel and Convention Center Development
The Mauston Common Council has approved a highway access request to help the Brunner Hotel development off on highway 82 advance further. The council came to an agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, announced during their March 27th meeting. The agreement grants a new public road for the Ray Brunner Hotel development. The agreement between the City of Mauston and the DOT was necessary for the new road. The hotel development is taking place east of the Pilot Travel Center. The Brunner Hotel will include a Convention Center and is trying to include an upscale restaurant.
