Monroe County Justice Center Dedication Ceremony Friday

After decades of debate leading to a referendum, the Monroe County Justice Center project is now completed. The public is invited to attend the Dedication Ceremony and Open House on Friday, September 29th. The guided tours of the Justice Center will run from 8:30am—7:00pm. Along with tours, there will be refreshments, cake and souvenirs.

Because of limited parking near the Justice Center, visitors are encouraged to park their vehicles at the softball field parking lot in Memorial Park – East Pine Street, and then ride the shuttle buses to and from the Justice Center.

Along with the Monroe County Justice Center tours, there will be additional open houses at various County facilities near the new Center, including the Monroe County Local History Room, Deke Slayton Space & Bicycle Museum, Monroe County Executive Center, Monroe County Health Center and the ADRC building.
