Lyndon Station Man Facing Charges After Bar Fight

A Lyndon Station man is facing charges of Strangulation and Suffocation, Felony Bail Jumping, and Misdemeanor Battery after getting into a fight with a friend of his girlfriend.  On August 24th authorities reported to a Lyndon Station establishment due to a fight that took place.  The victim was having drinks with the girlfriend of 52 year old David Bird, when the victim and Bird got into a verbal argument.  The victim was told by the bartender to leave however the victim came back later and began arguing with Bird again.  Bird paid his bill and left the bar but the victim followed him out.  Witnesses say they saw Bird then get on top of the woman and started choking her.  The fight was broken up by witnesses.
