Hit and Run Charges after Wiping Out Street Signs

Michael Menard, age 61 of Mauston, was cited for Hit and Run, and Failure to Keep Vehicle Under Control, for a crash that occurred last Tuesday night.  Menard said he swerved to avoid hitting a deer and lost control, destroying a stop sign and a street sign.  He said he was going to report the incident later.
