Elroy Woman Charged with Domestic Abuse Disorderly Conduct
Juneau County authorities were dispatched to a New Lisbon gas station on April 13th due to a disturbance involving April Caissie 38, of Elroy. Caissie told authorities they needed to arrest her boyfriend for domestic violence. She told authorities he had punched her with and open fist, choked her, and twisted her finger. Deputies talked to a witness who informed them Caissie had no marks on her neck when she first saw Caissie, but then witnessed her grabbing her own neck in the gas station bathroom causing it to become red. The deputies then talked with the boyfriend at his residence. He informed authorities Caissie entered his home and dumped a pitcher of water on him and his bed before punching him. The boyfriend was able to get Caissie out of the house and lock her out but she continued to beat on the door, according to the boyfriend. Authorites did indeed notice the bed to be soaked and the door to be scratched up like someone was trying to get in. On April 16th deputies arrived at the same residence for a similar situation. They talked to Cassie outside and gave authorities conflicting stories about being abused by her boyfriend. The boyfriend said the same thing happened as the previous day before and Caissie was once again trying to break into the home. Caissie was arrested but later released. Early in the morning on April 17th authorites once again reported to the residence, as Caissie was again trying to get into the place. She appeared intoxicating according to the officers and claimed she was only trying to get her stuff to move out. Caissie was arrested and is being charged with Disorderly Conduct, Domestic Abuse (repeat offense during 72 hour no contact period).
