Portage Man Has Sentence Withheld, Put on Probation
A Portage man who had spit in ambulance member’s face after his arrest in pleaded no contest to battery, resisting or obstructing an officer, and disorderly conduct Tuesday. Court records show 24-year-old Andrew Premo had his sentence withheld, but will serve 20 days in jail and two years on probation for the charges. Charges of Discharge Bodily Fluid at Public Safety Worker and misdemeanor bail jumping were dismissed but read-in during sentencing. In March 26, 2017, Premo allegedly made threats that he would kill people inside a home in the Town of Lemonweir with a firearm.
