Hillsboro Man Killed in Head-On Collision in Iowa County

Alcohol was a factor in a fatal head-on crash that killed a Hillsboro man on Highway 14 in Iowa County Friday evening. According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, a 53-year-old Muscoda woman, driving a red sedan, veered into oncoming traffic as she headed eastbound on Highway 14, striking an oncoming pickup truck driven by a 38-year-old Hillsboro man. The pickup truck driver was pronounced dead, while the sedan driver suffered minor injuries. The sedan driver was taken to an area hospital and was later arrested on charges of operating while intoxicated.
