The Juneau County Health Department is partnering with the Aging Disability and Resource Center to offer the StrongWomen Program, an exercise program for middle-aged and older adults. Classes will be offered in Mauston, starting the week of January 8th, 2018. Classes are Monday and Wednesday at the New Lisbon Utilities Center from 11am to Noon. Each class includes progressive weight training, flexibility, and balance activities. Tara Noye, Juneau County Health Department Health Educator is coordinating these programs. All instructors have been trained in the StrongWomen program and have had personal successes participating and leading strength training classes.
