BOYS BASKETBALL Mauston defeated  Westby 70-58 Necedah defeated Adams-Friendship 51-46.  Senior guard Noah Waltemath led the charge for Necedah, which overcame an 11-point deficit with 4:30 left in the game, to win 51-46. Waltemath scored 14 of his team high 16 points in the 2nd half. The Necedah defense took over the game down the stretch as the Cardinals pulled away from the Green Devils. Sophomore guard Jaron Murphy added 14 and senior guard Miles Saylor chipped in 13 for the Cardinals. Jaiquon Ingram led the Green Devils with 20 points, Braedyn Quinnell added 15 in the loss. >>Man Convicted On State Charges Of Stealing Firearms From Janesville Gun Store (Janesville, WI)  —  The man already found guilty on federal charges for stealing firearms from a Janesville gun store has now been found guilty of state charges. A Rock County jury today (Tuesday) convicted 33-year-old Joseph Jakubowski of burglary, theft and possession of burglary tools. Jakubowski has already been convicted in federal court on similar charges. He was sentenced to 14 years in federal prison in December. Jakubowski said he took 18 firearms from Armageddon Supplies in Janesville last April. He mailed a rambling anti-government manifesto to the White House and went on the run. He was captured
