>>Man Accused Of Beating Elderly Woman Will Have Competency Exam (Madison, WI)  —  A Dane County judge has ordered a competency hearing for a man accused of beating an elderly woman in her home.  The incident happened last week in the town of Dunn.  A Wednesday preliminary hearing for 33-year-old Joshua Radewan was delayed when the judge called for the competency hearing.  Prosecutors say Radewan broke into the 78-year-old woman’s home last week and beat her, causing injuries requiring several stitches to her head and face.  A date for the competency hearing hasn’t been set.   >>UW-La Crosse Announces Largest Single Gift In Its History (La Crosse, WI)  —  U_W-La

Andrews, Beatrice Mae, age 97 of Necedah

Beatrice Mae Andrews, 97, of Necedah, WI, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, at the Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston, WI.
