>>Former Milwaukee Police Officer Reaches Plea Agreement (Milwaukee, WI)  —  A former Milwaukee police officer could be sentenced to 15 years in prison as part of a plea deal reached this week.  Sexual assault charges against Dominique Heaggan-Brown were dropped one month before his trial was scheduled to start.  In another case, Heaggan-Brown had been acquitted last June in the fatal shooting of Sylville Smith while he was still on the job.  Smith’s death in August 2016 led to riots.  One of the sexual assault charges was based on an incident one day after Smith was shot.  Heaggan-Brown was fired shortly after the charge was filed.   >>Cumberland Father Accused
