A New Lisbon man is being referred to the Monroe County District Attorney after a slew of bar and tavern break-ins.  Fifty-one year old Christopher Edwards allegedly broke into Callahans Bar in Tomah during the overnight hours of June 14th 2017.  Police were called to Callahans at 9AM the next morning after an employee reported damage to the back door and a gambling machine.  The gambling machine had been pried open with $851 in cash missing.  A cash register and Juke Box were also broken into with $1,100 reported missing.  The video surveillance system had also been stolen.  The police did notice a black cup sitting on the back of

The City of New Lisbon has worked out an agreement between the city, the Wisconsin Utility commission, and Street Magic Enterprise LLC to have the city flush out the water mains.  These water mains are located under the New Lisbon Travel Mart.  The water mains will remain private property as the city does not want to take them over not knowing what kind of condition they’re in.  There has been concern that those mains need to be flushed because they are connected to the city of New Lisbon.  The agreement allows the city to flush these mains up to two times a year.  The flushing will help prevent potential bacteria
