Western Wisconsin football realignment has moved Mauston, Adams-Friendship, Wisconsin Dells, Nekoosa, and Westfield into a new conference (currently known as Conference C). They will be joined in the new conference by Galesville-Ettrick-Trempealeau and Black River Falls. Both those teams had been members of the coulee conference. Tomah and the Mississippi Valley Conference will also be affected by the loss of La Crosse Aquinas who will move into a new conference, leaving the MVC with only 7 teams. On December 15, 2017 deputies were dispatched to the town of Springville, in Adams County, for a report of a suicidal subject. When authorities arrived Mejchar begain shouting I’m over here (profanity) among other profanity laced comments directed at law enforcement.
