Two Injured in Head-On Collision in Sauk County

Two people were injured in a two vehicle head-on collision Thursday morning in Sauk County. Sheriff Chip Meister said the preliminary investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by 38-year-old Sarah M. Davis of Rock Springs was traveling southbound on Highway 23 in the township of Dellona when it crossed over the centerline and struck a vehicle operated by 58-year-old Susan M. Fiene of Lodi. Both vehicles rolled over due to the impact. Feine was transported St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo and Davis was flown to UW Hospital in Madison by UW Madison Med Flight. The crash remains under investigation by the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office.
