TMH Hospice Touch Marks Anniversary with Garden Dedication
After a lot of planning and work, Tomah Memorial Hospice Touch and Life Choices Palliative care officials are ready to show off its Serenity House gardens. Hospice director Laura Fritz says area residents are invited to a dedication and open house at the Hospice Serenity House at 601 Straw Street in Tomah Tuesday, September 12. Fritz said the flower gardens have been enjoyed by patients, their families and even hospice staff. She said funds from the Jesse Parker Foundation were key to the project. She said plans call to expand the area with additional gardens next spring and summer. The open house is being held in conjunction with the organization’s 25th anniversary. The event runs from 4 PM to 7 PM with the dedication program starting at 5:30.
