Three Injured in Sauk County Crash
Three people were injured in a two vehicle crash on County Highway H in Sauk County Monday morning. According to the release from the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office, the initial investigation revealed that a vehicle, driven by 30-year-old Jessica Thomas of Reedsburg was westbound on County Highway H in the township of Dellona. The vehicle crossed the center line and collided with another vehicle that was being operated by 42-year-old Tracy Pierce of Wonewoc. Officials say Thomas, Pierce, and a passenger in Pierce’s vehicle, 38-year-old Sarah Davis of Wonewoc were all injured in the crash. Both Thomas and Pierce were subsequently transferred to UW Hospital in Madison due to their injuries. All of the occupants were wearing seatbelts. Alcohol and speed are not suspected to be factors in the crash. This incident remains under investigation by the Sauk County Sheriff’s Department.
