Nelson, Keith W., age 70, of Warrens

Keith W. Nelson, age 70 years, of Warrens, Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017 in Warrens.

He was born on September 18, 1946 to Andrew and Leona (Rickey) Nelson in Elroy, Wisconsin.

Keith entered the U.S. Navy in 1964 and served during the Vietnam War era.  Later he worked at the VA Medical Center in Tomah.  He also enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his siblings, Ross Nelson of Sebring, Florida, Phyllis (Pat) Tangney of Black River Falls, Shirley (Frank) Thomas of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, Judy (Chuck) Swartz of Minocqua, Gordon (Sally) Nelson of Tomahawk, Larry (Mary Jane) Nelson of Janesville and Ricky (Kathy) Nelson of Union Center and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; and brothers, Gene, Robert, William and Dale Nelson.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Picha Funeral Home in Elroy.  Burial with military rites will be in the Fowler Prairie Cemetery at Elroy.  Friends may call at the Picha Funeral Home in Elroy on Friday from 1 to 2 p.m., for online information go to www.pichafuneralhomes.com
