Necedah Man Charged with First Degree Sexual Assault of a Child

A Necedah man has been charged with first degree sexual assault of a child. According to the criminal complaint, 35-year-old Joshua Stainbrook is also charged with incest. He faces imprisonment of no more than 60 years for the first charge and a fine of $100,000 or 40 years imprisonment or both for the second charge. Court records show that a $20,000 cash bond has been set for Stainbrook and he is to not have contact with the victim or anyone under the age of 18. An initial appearance for Stainbrook is scheduled for August 23 at 9:00am at the Juneau County Justice Center. Officials say unless a judgment of conviction is entered, Stainbrook is presumed innocent of all charges.
