Minor Injuries for Viola Man After Two Vehicle Accident

Two men were able to avoid serious injuries after a head-collision accident in the Town of Viroqua Saturday. Vernon County Sheriff John Spears said at about 3:30pm, a vehicle operated by 69-year-old Terry St. John, of Viroqua, was traveling east on Highway 56, when he attempted to turn left on Highway 82 and collided with a westbound vehicle operated by 67-year-old Alan White of Viola. The vehicles collided head-on in the intersection. White reported minor injuries at the crash but refused medical treatment. St. John and his passenger, Terri Cade, did not report any injuries. Sheriff Spears said all parties were wearing seat belts.
