Mauston Police Department Released Results from “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” Campaign
Mauston Police Officers made one drunken driving arrest during the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” crackdown from August 18 to September 4. During the crackdown on drunken driving, officers also issued citations and made arrests during traffic stops for the following:
1 – Operating While Intoxicated
0 – Safety Belt Violations
4 – Speeding Violations
15 – Operating after revocation or suspension violations
8 – Traffic signs or traffic light violations
58 – Citations issued
120 – Warnings issued
For the department,”Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” is more than just a catchy slogan. It’s something that they take very seriously throughout the year as part of their larger, collective efforts to keep roadways as safe as possible for everyone.
