Man Killed After Being Struck by Train

A man was pronounced dead at the scene after being struck by a train Sunday night. According to the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office, an initial investigation revealed a westbound Canadian Pacific train struck a male subject who was between the tracks in the Village of Lyndon Station. Investigators believe the victim is a 20-year-old Lyndon Station man, but positive verification of the victim is pending. The subject was pronounced dead at the scene by the Juneau County Coroner. The accident remains under investigation.
