Krueger, Robert Lee, age 80, of Mauston
Robert Lee Krueger, Mauston passed away Monday, July 10th 2017 at his home with his family. Bob was born November 24th, 1936 the son of Elmer and Lucile (Brown) Krueger. He was baptized at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
He was united in marriage to Carole A. Garretts on May 14th, 1955. Bob was an active lifelong member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. Bob enjoyed all the activities of his children and grandchildren going to sporting events and other school activities. He enjoyed golf, bowling, cribbage, traveling and asking if “you gonna buy one”?
Bob is survived by his wife Carole, his children Garrie (Casey) Krueger of Lexington, KY, Jeanne(Calvin) Brockman of Mauston, Kelly (Mike) Coughlin of Mauston, Michael (Karen) Krueger of Green Bay, his grandchildren Jeremiah, Michael, Jennifer, Andrew, Meghan, Nicole, John, Garrie, Patrick, Derek and Matthew, his brother Lyle(Marilyn) of South Milwaukee, 16 1/2 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Cathy, a brother William, a brother Donald, and a sister Dorathy Williams.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 15th, 2017 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mauston, where friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment at Mauston Cemetery following the service with a luncheon at the church.
There will be a visitation at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Friday July 14th, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
We would like to thank the friends and extended family members who supported Bob through his illness. We would also like to thank the staff at St. Josephs and Hope Lodge in Marshfield, Mile Bluff Medical Center, and the staff at Hospice for their kind treatment.
