Gum, Dorothy M., age 61, of Friendship

Dorothy M. Gum, age 61, of Friendship, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics in Friendship, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. on Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Assembly of God Church in Adams,

Wisconsin.   Pastor Mark Stevens will officiate.  Interment will be at the Olin Cemetery, Town of Springville, Adams County, Wisconsin.  Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on Friday at Assembly of God Church.

Dorothy was born August 24, 1955 in Aurora, Illinois to Robert and Patricia (Lange) Georgeson.

She attended Downers Grove South High School in Downers Grove, Illinois and went to beauty school in Madison, Wisconsin.

Dorothy’s family was most important to her and she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She had a heart of gold and would always help anyone in their time of need. She regularly attended Adams Assembly of God Church.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry & Dorothy Lange; parents, Robert & Patricia Georgeson; brothers, Randy & Robert W. Georgeson; aunt, Ruthy Vicknell; uncle, Vincent “Tiny” Lange; nephews, Brian Georgeson, Kenny Meyer & Robert Georgeson and niece, Patricia Georgeson.

Son:  Derek Gomez of New York

Daughter:  Misty (Kevin) May of Baraboo, Wisconsin

Daughter:  Brandy (Mike Tripp) Georgeson of Friendship, Wisconsin

Son:  Edward (Ray Zaleski) Lee of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin

Grandson:  Austin May

Granddaughter:  Destiny May

Granddaughter:  Adrianna Zielinski

Granddaughter:  Hayden Zielinski

Granddaughter:  Nikka Tripp

Brother:  Duane (Jan) Georgeson of Reedsburg, Wisconsin

Sister:  Patricia (Travis) Adams of Adams, Wisconsin

Sister:  Doreen (Norman) Meyer of Adams, Wisconsin

Sister:  Melody (Don) Cook of Baraboo, Wisconsin

Sister:  Penny (Thomas) Dyke of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin

Brother:  Roy (Carol) Georgeson of Baraboo, Wisconsin

Brother:  Roger (Kathy) Bruchert of Iowa

Further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
