Evers Signs Bill Eliminating Tax Benefit For Companies Moving Out Of Wisconsin
Move out of Wisconsin? You’ll lose a benefit when you file your taxes. That’s the message to companies which move out of the state. Governor Tony Evers signed a bill Monday targeting the tax deductions businesses claim when they move. The legislation which passed with bipartisan support is mostly symbolic — the Department of Revenue estimates it will mean less than a million dollars-a-year of new revenue.
