The New Lisbon School Board approved their preliminary budget for the 2017-18 school year at their monthly meeting on Monday night. the decrease in the revenue limit and state aid this year is mostly due to declining number of students living in the school district. Superintendent Dennis Birr said this is just the best guess they have since the state budget hasn’t been passed.
