The Mauston School Board got an update on the Community Track and Field Project at its regular board meeting Monday night. Superintendent Christine Weymouth said they are finishing up the latex coating on the track and long jump area. Then, there are mounds of dirt that needs to be flatten and seeded by the entryway. The fence is all around the track and the gates will be installed soon. Weymouth said the bleachers have been secured and there will be the inspection of them soon. Men and women are invited to golf with a purpose and support local healthcare through Mile Bluff Medical Center Foundation’s 7th Annual Golf Outing.  The outing will be held Thursday, August 10 at Castle Rock Golf Course in Mauston.  Everyone is invited to attend this event, whether it’s to golf, to enjoy the reception and banquet, or just to join in on the fun.
