Missing Woman Found Safe in Vernon County

Vernon County Sheriff’s Office says they found a 77-year-old woman after being reported missing Friday morning. Sheriff John Spears said 79-year-old Thomas Bible of Black River Falls said they were camping at the Coulee Region Antique Engine Club in the Town of Christiana. When he woke up, his wife, Jessie R. Bible, was not in the camper. Area campers and the sheriff’s office conducted a search of the grounds and at about 6:00 AM, Jessie Bible was located inside a semi-tractor. Necedah Police Department to Join “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” Initiative From Aug. 18 to Sept. 4

The Necedah Police Department will join hundreds of law enforcement agencies across Wisconsin to combat drunken driving during the annual “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” initiative from Aug. 18 to Sept. 4.
