Delegation from Kazakhstan in Mauston to Share Experience Through Open World Program September 29 – October 8, 2017

(MAUSTON, Wisconsin) – An Open World delegation from Kazakhstan arrives in Mauston on Friday, September 29th for a week long program to promote mutual understanding between Kazakhstan environmental educators and their Western Wisconsin counterparts. Hosted by UW Extension Juneau County in Mauston, the Open World delegates will explore best practices in environmental sustainability. This exchange continues the ongoing relationship between Juneau County and Kazakhstan. Schultz, Pauline Ann (Frederick), age 84, of Mauston

Pauline Ann (Frederick) Schultz age 84 of Mauston died Saturday, September 23, 2017 at University Hospitals, Madison after complications from a brain aneurysm and a subsequent fall. Pauline was born on May 17, 1933 in Kendall, Wisconsin to George and Eleanor (Rynes) Frederick.  She graduated from Kendall High School. She married Everett D. Schultz on January 8, 1954 and along with her husband owned and operated Schultz Transportation of Mauston for 50 years. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth “Betty” Schultz of River Falls, WI, her sons Dale (Laurie) Schultz of Mauston, Michael (Lorrie) Schultz of Mauston, daughter –in-law  Terry Givens-Schultz of Reedsburg, Wi,her 11 grandchildren Michael D.
