Westby Man Jumps from Moving Vehicle; Suffers Serious Injuries

A Westby man suffered serious injuries after jumping from a vehicle. Vernon County Sheriff John Spears said on Tuesday, September 26 at about 6:45 PM, 22-year-old Michael Krueger of Westby jumped from a moving vehicle traveling east on State Highway 56, near State Highway 82. The driver of the vehicle was 20-year-old Dustin Tolliver of Westby. Other occupants of the vehicle were 18-year-old Larry Griffith of Westby, and 19-year-old Angelica Rivera of Viroqua. Krueger was medically transported with serious injuries. The incident remains under investigation by the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office.
