Field, Wanda E., age 91 of Wonewoc
Wanda E. Field, age 91 years, of Wonewoc, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Heritage Manor in Elroy, Wisconsin.
She was born on January 13, 1927 to Earl and Alma (Weber) Kimball in the Town of Wonewoc, Juneau County, Wisconsin and graduated from the Wonewoc High School in 1944.
Wanda was united in marriage to Kenneth Roy Field on June 26, 1947 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wonewoc. They were lifelong residents of Wonewoc and she worked as a Cook for the Wonewoc Schools, retiring after 25 years of service. She was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and Ladies Aide, also the Wonewoc American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include her sons, Kenneth (Janet) Field Jr., Dale (Diane) Field, Rick Field and Randy “Ben” (Donna) Field, all of Wonewoc; daughter-in-law, Barbara Field of Mauston; fourteen Grandchildren; twenty-six Great Grandchildren; sisters, Frieda Hagemann, Marion Pagel and Alice Roloff; brother, Roy (Charlotte) Kimball; and sister-in-law, Juanita Pagel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Roy Field on December 17, 2004; son, Kevin Field on October 12, 2003; daughter-in-law, Betty Field; and two brothers, Grover and Roland Kimball.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wonewoc, with Rev. Peter Snyder officiating. Burial will be in the Millards Prairie Cemetery.
